D is for ….

Some of the activities we did when learning about the letter D!
D is for Dentist! we not only read about it but went to the dentist that week for a check up. I would like to say I am super organized and planned it that way, but it was actually just an accident.
I love it when accidents like this happen :) all boys were cavity FREE YES!
D is for Dinosaur! we read books and then did a math game pretending to be dinos and eating the nuts as we did the number game.
D is for DIG! a few days a head I froze a dino in a plastic container with ice and water so it froze then gave him water bottles with HOT water and a butter knife to dig and chip away at this. He LOVED IT!
sooooo proud of himself when he got it out.
D is for Dallin, December and Daniel- we read about Daniel in the Lions den and did some activity pages from the blog confections of a slacker mom (or homeschooler I can't remember) about Daniel and the Lions den.

D is for Dice and we also did some dice games I found on pinterest.
