C is for …

C is for Creation - we talked about how the lord created the world. C is for Catiplar, read the very hungery caterpillar, and did this activity with it. I got it from Confessions of a homeschooler blog a few years ago.
C is for Colors, read books and did a color animal bingo activity and song I had on hand from when the other boys were little.
C is for Counting, and Cars he gathered 20 cars and I wrote 1-20 on sticky dots and he counted and labeled them with that number.
then he had to make a race Course! for the Cars!

C is for Clouds we read a sequencing story book I had on hand about clouds and some other books on clouds and make cloud dough. See pinterest for recipe.
C is for Cookie, we read If you give a mouse a cookie. Then (I gathered these things a head of time)
As we read the story (since we own this books and have read it MANY times) as i read it I pulled out something to go along with that part of the book. Then I covered it up, and had him tell me the story back, and pulled the items back out as he remembered them it was fun, he got all of them but one!

Make play dough cookies and read the book Mmmmm Cookies by Robert Munch- really funny.
THEN we had to make REAL cookies!
